Through MG Select, JSW MG Motor India is reshaping the future of luxury by offering exclusive experiences in 12 cities during phase 1.
The MG M9 will make its debut at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025.
The MG M9 is set to become the brand’s second premium all-electric vehicle, following the stylish Cyberster sports car, and will be showcased at MG Select outlets.
Both models will be displayed at the upcoming Auto Expo 2025 in New Delhi, starting on January 17.
Previously known as the Mifa 9 MPV, the MG M9 was unveiled at the 2023 Auto Expo to gather feedback from potential customers. Expected to be priced around Rs 65 lakh (ex-showroom), the MG M9 features a spacious, three-row, 7-seater cabin.
It boasts luxurious touches like reclining ottoman seats in the second row with eight massage functions. Additional comforts include three-zone climate control, a dedicated touchscreen for the second row, seat ventilation, dual sunroofs, powered sliding rear doors, and rear entertainment screens.
Gaurav Gupta, Chief Growth Officer at JSW MG Motor India, shared, “A personalised masterpiece, the MG M9 offers bespoke interiors, meticulous craftsmanship, and cutting-edge technology.”
In terms of design, the MG M9 carries a boxy MPV look with modern touches that make it unique. The front features a full-width LED light bar with turn signals at each corner, while the headlamps are integrated into the bumper with chrome accents. The rear is equally stylish, with vertical tail-lights and a drop-down look, connected by an LED light bar, and chrome details around the bumper.
Initially, the MG M9 will be sold at MG Select outlets in 12 cities across India. With a growing interest in luxury MPVs, it aims to target customers looking for alternatives to vehicles like the diesel-powered Carnival or the more expensive Vellfire, which comes with a petrol-hybrid setup.
In contrast, the M9 offers a fully electric powertrain with a 90kWh battery, delivering an impressive claimed WLTP range of 430km.
