In a move to make travel easier and more convenient, the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is set to launch the FASTag Annual Pass on August 15, 2025. This will mark the biggest update to commuting on highways in India.
As per the details shared by the officials, the yearly FASTag Pass can be purchased by making a payment of Rs 3,000. It will allow the commuters to cross up to 200 tolls or a full year’s travel, whichever comes first, seamlessly.
The benefit applies to private vehicle owners only, allowing them to avoid toll fraud at toll booths, reduce repeated recharges, skip long queues, and expedite toll transactions. It does not apply to commercial vehicles.
Here Is How To Apply
- Interested ones can visit Rajmarg Yatra mobile app or visit the NHAI/MoRTH official website
- Log in by using your vehicle registration number and FASTag ID. Make sure your FASTag is active and is properly linked to the vehicle.
- Click on the Annual Pass option. The interface will take you to the payment option.
- Pay an amount of Rs 3,000 via internet banking, UPI, net banking, or using a credit/debit card option.
- Once the payment is done. The pass will get active after verification within two or three hours.
- Once active, the vehicle owners will get an SMS confirmation on the registered phone number.
This annual pass will work only at toll plazas on NHAI- and MoRTH-managed National Highways (NH) and National Expressways (NE). The list includes the Delhi–Mumbai Expressway, the Mumbai–Nashik, and the Mumbai–Surat routes
